CWAI Copyright Takedown Policy

This Copyright Takedown Policy (“Policy”) explains how CWAI (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles reports of copyright infringement on our platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with this Policy and applicable UK copyright law.

1. Purpose

Cwai respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This Policy describes how copyright owners can report infringing material and how users can respond to takedown requests.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all user-generated content, including AI-generated designs, text prompts, mockups, and uploaded media created or shared on the CWAI platform.

3. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied, generated, or distributed on Cwai without permission, you can submit a takedown request by emailing:

Your report must include:

  • Your full name and contact email
  • A description or link to the copyrighted work you claim was infringed
  • Specific URLs or design IDs where the infringing content appears
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized
  • A statement confirming the information you provide is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • An electronic or typed signature (your full name is sufficient)

4. What Happens After You Submit a Report

  • An employee will review your claim within 7 days of receipt.
  • If valid, the infringing content will be removed or disabled immediately.
  • The user who submitted or generated the content will be notified via email or text.
  • If the claim is rejected, we will explain why (e.g., incomplete notice, invalid ownership, or clearly fraudulent claim).

5. User Notifications & Counter-Claims

The affected user may respond with a counter-claim if they believe the content was removed in error. Counter-claims should include:

  • Identification of the removed content
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that they have the right to use it
  • Contact information for follow-up
  • An electronic or typed signature

Counter-claims are reviewed manually. If accepted, the content may be restored.

6. Enforcement & Repeat Infringement

  • Users found intentionally infringing will receive one warning.
  • A second confirmed violation results in account termination.
  • If the content was uploaded or generated unintentionally, users may receive a warning only.
  • All infringing content is permanently deleted and may not be re-uploaded.

7. AI-Generated Content & Prompts

  • Users must not include copyrighted or trademarked material in text prompts or uploaded files.
  • Intentional generation of copyrighted content may result in a permanent ban.
  • Cwai reserves the right to block or restrict prompts that frequently produce infringing results.

8. False or Fraudulent Claims

Submitting false or bad-faith copyright notices or counter-claims may result in suspension or legal action. Cwai reserves the right to refuse clearly invalid or incomplete requests.

9. Data & Record Handling

  • Takedown notices, counter-claims, and related communications are stored securely for compliance.
  • Cwai may share these documents with affected users or authorities as required by law.
